Our style of real estate service involves advising, counseling, consulting, analyzing, interpreting, negotiating and creatively marketing for effective results. Since 1978 we have worked full time in real estate, specializing in helping individuals and families with their real estate needs.
We began our real estate career in Fairbanks, Alaska, where for a time we owned and operated our own real estate firm. After relocating to San Diego in 1988, Larry served several years as Manager of San Diego’s #1 selling real estate office, which is now the Coldwell Banker Mission Valley office. Currently we work full time with both buyers and sellers, helping past clients sell and buy their next home -- working with referrals from our clients -- working with people referred to us by agents in other markets who send us buyers for second/vacation homes here in San Diego -- as well as serving corporate transferees relocating into the San Diego area.
Our goal is to provide personalized service that meets the unique needs of each individual or family we serve. We tailor our marketing and home-searching efforts accordingly. Using technology to enhance communication, our style is highly personalized. We stay in close contact with our clients throughout the home-buying/selling process, and for years afterwards, too!
We are experienced, skillful negotiators and conscientiously oversee all aspects of the transaction during the Escrow period until Closing, and beyond. Being accessible, keeping transactions on track, and always providing guidance to help our clients make wise decisions - this we provide to each client we serve.
Barb received her B.A. from Goddard College and her Master's Degree from Boston University and was a teacher for 6 years before entering the field of real estate. Larry attended Alaska Methodist University and the University of Alaska and worked as a purchasing agent and as a manager of shipping operations for the TransAlaska Pipeline before becoming a Realtor.
Over the years we have worked for various franchise real estate companies, including RE/MAX, One Source Realty, GMAC and Coldwell Banker. In the first quarter of 2010 we were recognized by NRT (owner of Coldwell Banker Residential, ERA and Southeby's International) for being among the top 2% of their 45,000 agents.
Our experience spans decades, in which we have helped hundreds of individuals and families through the complexities of selling and buying homes. Our expertise includes handling the special issues inherent in job-related relocation as well as the many challenges of today's real estate market.
We concentrate on personal representation of individual clients in a referral-based business.
